Reflecting on values

I enjoy the comments of the rabid Mr. Rodriguez.

It causes me to reflect upon the state of our nation, as well as my own set of values.

In this recent commentary, he opens with the statement that there are two sides to every story.

His writings reflect a very different story.

Later he states he is a conservative. I would classify his thinking as a reactionary.

Calling Mr. Rodriguez a conservative is akin to calling the Emperor Nero, naughty.

In a prior column, Mr. Rodriguez made an effort to enlist Christianity to bolster his assertions.

I don’t think Christianity can be used in his context.

I suspect Christ was probably a socialist at best, or worst depending upon your frame of reference.

I recall something about a parable of the vineyard. I believe Mr. Rodriguez would be happy to see children working in the textile mills, and blacks picking cotton.

People with his thinking could unite and attempt to take over the country. They could be the ISIS of America.
