HARLINGEN — Police have arrested a man they say stabbed one woman in the face and punched a second victim.
Officers were called at 6 a.m. on Saturday to the 2000 block of East Jackson Avenue in Harlingen.
The stabbing victim told them when she got home she was attacked by 41-year-old Jose Flores. Police say she was stabbed on the left side of her face and neck and was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The other woman told investigators Flores punched her in the face with his closed fist.
Flores was arrested and arraigned on changes of aggravated assault and assault. His bond was set at $110,000.
