SAN BENITO – This weekend parents in San Benito can attend the annual school district parent conference.
It will be held Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at San Benito High School.
Among the speakers will be Justice of the Texas Thirteenth Court of Appeals Gina M. Benavides and keynote speaker Guillermo “Willie” Lopez, a nationally known motivational speaker of Homeboy Goes to Harvard Productions.
The conference will feature sessions about district programs such as special education, GEAR Up, higher education/college dual enrollment/advanced placement and many other subjects.
