A prostitution detail conducted Tuesday in the downtown Brownsville area lead to the arrest of five people each on a charge of prostitution.
Brownsville police report the five were placed under arrest after they solicited undercover polices officers to engage in sexual intercourse in exchange for money.
Arrested during the course of the investigation were Irma Lozano, Angie Marie Castillo, Jesus Eduardo Aguilar, Criselda Prieto, and Martin Herrera-Hernandez, according to a police report.
All individuals were arrested and booked into Brownsville City Jail on charges of prostitution.
