The conference provided attendees the latest information on assessment, testing, and accountability in education.
As Commissioner of Education, Morath heads the Texas Education Agency, which oversees pre-K through high school education for the 5.3 million students enrolled in both traditional public schools and charter schools.
Morath served as the keynote speaker for the closing session of the assessment conference. During his speech, he provided state testing updates.
