The first School Board meeting of 2017 celebrated outstanding elementary, middle school, and high school student leaders throughout the district.
Recognition awards were distributed to students who exhibited leadership excellence in various leader-driven school organizations.
Board Members recognized elementary Student Council members, the Student Advisory Board and an Eagle Scout Member for endless time and effort contributions to the school district and the community.
Each student leader in attendance was presented with a certificate and HCISD pin.
Parents and other school leaders accompanied these remarkable individuals in the audience for the proud occasion.
