HARLINGEN — It’s dark and there’s no water in it.
There have been no swim laps or water aerobics for a few weeks.
But that all could change soon.
Pendleton Pool has been closed for maintenance since Dec. 19.
However, Harlingen Aquatics Supervisor Adam Diaz expects to reopen the pool in as early as two weeks after he and the lifeguards complete the pool facility upgrades.
“What we did was patch up a bunch of divots in the shell,” Diaz said. “We primed the pool and colored the pool.”
