Your neighbors: Harlingen residents earn spots on executive council

HARLINGEN — Monica Leal-Clark and Gina Meneses have been named members of the 2016 Executive Council of New York Life Insurance Company.

Members of the executive council are among the most successful of New York Life’s sales force of 12,000 licensed agents.

Leal-Clark has been a New York Life agent since 2013, and is associated with New York Life’s South Texas General Office in Corpus Christi.

This recognition is dedicated to her mother, agent Elena Leal, LUTCF, CLFU, also with New York Life for more than 20 years.

Leal-Clark gives a heartfelt thank-you to her family and friends that continue to be a constant support.

She has served the community over the years as a member of and or serving on the board of directors of various programs and continues to work with multiple charity organizations throughout the Valley.

Meneses has been a New York Life agent since 2010, and also is associated with New York Life’s South Texas General Office in Corpus Christi.

Meneses has a degree from the University of Texas-Pan American, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in rehabilitation services and a minor in psychology.

She currently resides in Harlingen.

She and her husband, Tony Meneses, have three children, Giuliana, Massimo and Matthias.
