This summer, San Benito CISD offered summer school at Fred Booth Elementary, Judge Oscar De La Fuente Elementary, Miller Jordan Middle School, San Benito Veterans Memorial Academy and San Benito High School.
Among the various high-quality summer acceleration programs offered were regular summer school, intensive reading, Bilingual Education, Migrant Education and Special Education.
The school district also participated in the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Seamless Summer Food Service Program. Any child under 18 years of age was able to receive a meal free of charge.
