McAllen police are investigating a Wednesday morning shooting.
Lt. Joel Morales said police responded to the 6700 block of North 17th Street at 7:29 a.m. to a report of a shooting.
He said a man was transported to the hospital for treatment.
Morales said the investigation is ongoing.
