EDINBURG — The Cardboard Boat Regatta set sail at the Edinburg Municipal Pool on Friday, with finely crafted vessels including the U.S.S. Danger Zone, the U.S.S. Leviathan, and the U.S.S. Titanic.
Except this was no ill-fated voyage, and there was no need to share a door.
More than two dozen cardboard boats designed and created by members of the community, mostly children and teenagers, gathered at the pool Friday to chart a course for fun.
