A Dallas man accused of traveling south of the border to have sex with minors has been offered a plea deal.
Donald Frederic Bollinger, 64, is accused of traveling to Mexico and Honduras to have sex with minors, and conspiring to illegally smuggle one of them into Texas. He has pleaded not guilty.
During a pretrial hearing Thursday, Bollinger, who was dressed in a green prison jumpsuit and shackled by his hands and feet, listened as a federal prosecutor told U.S. District Judge Rolando Olvera that the United States Attorney’s Office, Southern District of Texas, is prepared to make a deal.
If Bollinger, who is facing a 12-count indictment, pleads guilty to Counts 1 through 9, the USAO is prepared to drop the remaining counts.
