Schlotzsky’s bringing its sandwiches to Mission

Schlotzsky’s Mission location is planning to celebrate its grand opening Friday morning, with a special offer on tap for customers.

The fast-casual restaurant — known for its made-to-order sandwiches, specialty pizzas, flatbreads and fresh salads — will offer the first 100 guests who buy a six-pack of Cinnabon rolls for $17.99 in-store Friday a buy one, get one free offer on entrees for an entire year, according to a release.

“This entitles guests to one complimentary entrée with the purchase of another for 52 consecutive weeks,” the release reads. “Guests must make the purchase at the Mission location and have the Schlotzsky’s Rewards app.”

Online purchases will not qualify for the entree deal. The location will host a ribbon cutting ceremony with the chamber of commerce at 9:30 a.m. Friday and open for business at 10 a.m.

“We are thrilled to celebrate the opening of our newest Schlotzsky’s restaurant in the vibrant community of Mission!” Bob Lozano, Chief Development Officer of F&P Brands, wrote in the release. “We look forward to welcoming our guests into the new restaurant and sharing many meals together!”

The Mission Schlotzsky’s is at 805 N. Shary Road.
