A firefighter and a resident were transported to a local hospital after a house fire spread to another nearby home in Pharr on Wednesday.

According to the city of Pharr, firefighters responded to a house fire at 809 E. San Antonio Avenue on Wednesday that spread to the neighboring residence.

The conditions of the firefighter and resident, as well as their identities and the circumstances of their injuries, are unclear.
