Various firefighters from across the upper Valley came together Sunday afternoon to help put out a warehouse fire in McAllen, the Weslaco Fire Department said.

WFD wrote on Facebook that its Ambus crew were taking care of medical and firefighter rehabilitation. That crew included two off-duty suppression personnel and a paramedic from the city’s fire administration.

The department added that the fire departments from the cities of McAllen, Alamo, San Juan, Mission, Pharr, Edinburg and Alton were also on location.

Additionally, Lonestar EMS was supporting medical operations, WFD said on Facebook.
