The Brownsville Police Department is investigating the death of a man who was found on the side of a road on Saturday morning.
In a Facebook video, Investigator Martin Sandoval said police were called to the 1700 block of Morningside Road at 7:03 a.m. in reference to a man laying on the ground.
Sandoval said he had “several injuries” to his body and is dead.
The Criminal Investigations Division is on scene.
Police are asking people to stay clear of the area and find alternative routes.
Anyone with information about the man — or how he got there — is asked to call the Brownsville Police Department.
