For all those who cry when the Butter Pecan Swirl leaves the Dunkin’ menu every season, it’s time to wipe the tears away. The tasty drink is here to stay starting Wednesday, April 26.

In honor of National Pecan Day, which was Friday, Dunkin’ announced the permanent return of its popular drink — a long-awaited announcement for those die-hard fans. Guests will now be able to add the Butter Pecan Swirl to hot or iced coffee, espresso drinks, cold brew, frozen coffee or frozen chocolate.

The drink which includes butter-roasted pecans and sweet cream was first added as a seasonal menu item in 2013; since then, it’s gained popularity making it Dunkin’s second most popular drink.

This, however, is not the only good news for pecan fans, according to a Dunkin’ news release there will be more pecan news coming this month.
