McAllen police seek public help in identifying robbery suspect

The McAllen Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating and identifying a man who robbed a convenience store on Monday.

In a news release, police said the robbery happened at approximately 11:01 p.m. in the 700 block of N. Bicentennial Blvd.

“Surveillance camera captured the image of the suspect involved in the incident,” the release stated.

The suspect has brown hair and eyes. He is 5-feet, 3-inches tall and weighs between 130 and 150 pounds.

Anyone with information as to the suspect’s identity or where he may be located is asked to call McAllen Crime Stoppers at (956) 687-TIPS (8477). Anonymous tips can also be submitted through the smartphone application P3 Tips.

“If the information leads to an arrest, you may be eligible for a cash reward,” the release states.
