Chicken tenders anyone?

Cowboy Chicken has added the fried favorite to their menu as of Monday. The restaurant is known for its wood-fired rotisserie chicken.

The eatery has two locations in McAllen, at 1020 W. Nolana Ave. No. 3746 and 3400 W. Expressway 83 No. 100, and will have the tenders available in the family, kids and adult meals on their menu.

In a news release, the restaurant said it “listened” and decided to add chicken tenders to its menu, saying it’ll “rule the roost as a favorite for all ages.”

They’re described as “all-natural chicken tenders” that are breaded and “seasoned for over 24 hours using proprietary artisan seasonings.” They’ll be served with honey blaze, ranch, barbecue and honey mustard.

The Dallas-based Cowboy Chicken was founded in 1981 and is a recognized chain, garnering various industry awards over the years.
