The Edinburg Police Department says a fatal Sunday crash involved a mother and daughter who were not wearing their seatbelts.
The single-vehicle crash that happened in the 4900 block of S. 24th Ave. killed 45-year-old Idaleen Ramos Sanchez and sent her daughter, 20-year-old Aylin Julissa Sanchez, to the hospital.
She is listed in stable condition, a release stated.
Both women were ejected from the vehicle.
The investigation into the crash continues, police said.
Authorities have not released any other information regarding the circumstances of the crash.
