Brownsville Public Utilities Board has announced the closing of one lane on Highway 77/83 from FM 802 to Pablo Kisel Boulevard to repair lights on the portion of the expressway.
The closure will be from 12 a.m. to 6 a.m. Friday and includes one lane on the highway “from NB/SB FM 802 to Pablo Kisel Boulevard,” BPUB said in a news release.
Traffic will be limited to one lane until work is completed. All construction dates and times are approximate, and the end date and time may vary due to the nature of weather, site conditions and job provisions.
BPUB, Texas Department of Transportation and City of Brownsville departments have coordinated on this effort to make it a safe and efficient operation, BPUB said in a news release.
BPUB apologizes for any inconveniences the closure may cause.
