Texas Department of Public Safety troopers are investigating a single-vehicle rollover that left a Donna man dead and sent another man to the hospital on Sunday.
In a news release, the agency said 37-year-old Guillermo Moreno Correa died at the scene of the crash, which happened on Border Avenue south of Farm-to-Market Road 495 in Donna at approximately 8:16 p.m.
Troopers believe that Moreno lost control of the green Chevrolet Suburban he was driving for unknown reasons and that he veered off of the roadway into an open field, where the vehicle rolled over, according to a news release.
DPS said a man who was a passenger in the vehicle was transported to McAllen Medical Center.
The agency continues to investigate the fatal crash.
