The Brownsville Public Utilities Board (BPUB) will reopen the Administration Building to customers by appointment only starting Monday, the electricity provider stated in a press release.

Customers interested in scheduling appointments can visit www.brownsville-pub.com or call (956) 983-6121 during work hours.

Appointments will be available Monday through Friday; no unscheduled walk-ins will be accepted. Customers must have all required documents, including valid government-issued identification and ownership/rental agreements, at the time of the appointment, the press release stated.

According to the press release, BPUB will not yet be opening the cashier stations inside the Administration Building for payments; however, the five drive-thru lanes behind the Administration Building are open Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

Customers can also make payments online, via the payment drop box or at the pay stations throughout Brownsville. A complete listing of pay stations and payment options is available on the BPUB website.
