Mission police arrested a 62-year-old man on Tuesday after he allegedly fondled himself in a public pool while children were present.
Investigator Art Flores said the children at the Bannworth Pool, located at 1822 N. Shary Road, noticed him fondling himself and reported the alleged behavior to their father who in turn told lifeguards. The staff called police at 3:15 p.m. Tuesday.
Flores said the suspect, who police have not yet identified because he hasn’t made a first appearance in court, will be charged with two counts of indecency with a child and a count of indecent exposure.
The man is scheduled to make a first appearance in Mission Municipal Court sometime Thursday, Flores said.
