McAllen police are investigating a stabbing death that occurred on Datepalm Avenue on Saturday.
Authorities said in a news release that the victim, identified only as a male subject, died at a local hospital after having been found stabbed in the 2200 block of Datepalm Avenue in McAllen.
Police had been called there in response to a report of a person seen on the ground bleeding, located at the rear of the location around 1:37 p.m.
Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call McAllen Crime Stoppers at (956) 687-TIPS (8477). A cash reward may be eligible if information leads to an arrest. An anonymous tip can also be submitted through the “P3 Tips” app.
