SAN BENITO — All San Benito CISD students will get free school supplies for the 2022-2023 school year, the district announced July 12 on its Facebook page.
Students will get their supplies at their respective campuses on the first day of school, Monday, Aug. 8.
Parents are no longer asked to buy school supplies on the district’s standard supply list, according to the announcement.
“Our goal is for our students to be focused on school and be present in class daily,” Interim Superintendent Theresa Servellon stated. “We will provide them the resources they need to learn.”
