Texas Department of Public Safety officials said a man who drove off a roadway and went airborne died Friday afternoon.
DPS said the man, who authorities did not identify as of Tuesday, died after a single-vehicle crash that happened at approximately 7:45 p.m. Friday on Moore Road west of Whalen Road in Alamo.
The preliminary investigation showed the black Chevrolet Trailblazer driven by the man “drove off the roadway, went airborne, then drove through a residential fence, where it stopped.”
DPS said the man died at the scene.
On Saturday, the agency said it would identify the man once his next of kin was identified.
