The Alton Police Department is conducting a homicide investigation after a body was discovered on a ranch Saturday morning.
A release from the department says police were called to a property east of Conway on 6 Mile line, on the south side of the roadway, in reference to the discovery of a body, at 7:38 a.m. Saturday.
Officers arrived and found a deceased man, the release said.
“Foul play is suspected and a homicide investigation is underway,” it said.
