Police in Donna arrested a man Wednesday in connection to a shooting outside of a drive-thru convenience store on Sunday, but they are still seeking a second man involved in the shooting.

Adrian Treviño-Lopez, 33, of Donna, was arrested Wednesday after he was identified as the shooter. Police are still searching for Guadalupe Treviño-Lopez who they believe was the driver of a dark-colored Chevrolet Silverado pick-up truck. Investigators did not say whether both men are related.

The shooting happened in the parking lot of Mari’s Drive-In, located on the 600 block of South 11th Street in Donna, about 5:53 p.m. Sunday.

According to police, the two men aboard the truck were involved in a chase with another vehicle traveling north on S. 11th Street. The chase ended when one of the vehicles — police didn’t say which one — crashed in the parking lot of the convenience store.

Surveillance video showed a man, presumed to be Adrian Treviño-Lopez, exiting the truck and holding a shotgun. The two men, Adrian and Guadalupe, then forced the occupants off of the other vehicle. After an “altercation,” the occupants of the second vehicle fled on foot and were “shot at multiple times” by the driver who was holding the weapon, Adrian Treviño-Lopez.

No one appears to have been struck or injured by the gunfire, police said.

An arrest warrant was executed Wednesday for Adrian Treviño-Lopez, but police are still searching for Guadalupe Treviño-Lopez.
