The Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office is investiating a triple shooting that left a man dead.
Sheriff J.E. Eddie Guerra said deputies responded to the corner of Trenton Road and Val Verde in rural Edinburg at 9:39 p.m. and found three men with gunshot wounds.
One of those men told investigators they were driving on Canton Road when they were fired upon, Guerra said on Twitter.
The investigation is ongoing.
