Hidalgo County and the Hidalgo County Precinct 3 Commissioner’s Office have partnered with the city of Mission, the Mission Consolidated Independent School District and the Sharyland ISD to host a first-dose COVID-19 community vaccine clinic, among the first to now be open to all adults.
According to a news release, the clinic is scheduled for Tuesday at the Mission Event Center, located at 2425 Ruby Red Blvd., where the first dose of the Moderna vaccine will be administered.
All adults age 18 and over are eligible to receive the vaccine. Pre-registration for Tuesday’s clinic is already underway.
To register, visit www.hidalgocounty.us/vaccine and select the Create Account link. Once logged on, eligible residents are able to book an appointment.
Individuals who register for Tuesday’s clinic will only be allowed into the parking area at the vaccination site 30 minutes before their designated time slots on Tuesday.
