How to Get the COVID Vaccine

Looking to get the COVID vaccine?

While vaccination clinics are popping up left and right, it can be hard to get a slot.

Any local vaccination clinics we write about will show up on our Coronavirus Coverage page at MyRGV.com/coronavirus.

These sites will help you make an appointment. You may need to check back multiple times, but persistence will pay off.

VaccineFinder is a great resource for finding sites on a larger scale.

H-E-B: https://vaccine.heb.com/

H-E-B is currently offering vaccines to healthcare workers, residents of long-term care facilities, anyone 65 years or older, school and child care personnel, and anyone 16 and older (for Pfizer) and 18 and older (for Moderna) with chronic medical conditions.

GoodRx is also providing a resource for finding a vaccination location.

This map from Texas Health and Human Services shows vaccination sites and availability. Make sure to call before heading into a location.

A List of COVID-19 Vaccination Hub Providers can also be found on the site, with contact information for potential providers. We’ve listed the Valley locations below.
