Valley Regional Medical Center on Friday named Lauren Davis as the hospital’s chief operating officer and said she will assume her new role today.
“Lauren’s talents in the areas of employee, patient, and physician satisfaction, operations and capital development projects will be invaluable assets to the growth of Valley Regional Medical Center,” Art Garza, chief executive officer said in the news release.
“We look forward to her joining the team and developing new ideas that benefit our community.”
Davis has served as associate administrator at the Methodist and Methodist Children’s Hospitals in San Antonio, since 2018. Her career achievements include driving improvements in employee, patient and physician satisfaction scores, as well as, overseeing numerous construction and expansion projects totaling well over $45 million, the release reads.
“Davis has continued to lead operations team through all the unprecedented challenges brought about by the current COVID-19 pandemic, providing oversight for operational, clinical and programmatic departments,” the press release reads.
Davis is a 2015 graduate of Trinity University’s M.S., Healthcare Administration program. She completed her undergraduate studies in biology at the University of Texas San Antonio. Her professional network includes membership in the American College of Healthcare Executives since 2013.
