City leaders and local hospital administrators will hold a virtual news conference Friday morning to discuss the state of hospitals in Brownsville during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The virtual news conference will be live streamed on Facebook and include Brownsville Mayor Trey Mendez, Valley Regional Medical Center CEO Art Garza, Valley Baptist Medical Center Brownsville CEO Leslie Bingham.
Also on hand will be Hispanic Health Research Center’s Dr. Joseph McCormick and Brownsville Public Health Director Dr. Art Rodriguez.
