It’s here, Mercedes.
There’s a new Starbucks ready to serve the residents of the community affectionately referred to as the Queen City.
Officials, along with the staff of the new shop and attendees, gathered Monday morning at the new Starbucks, located at 3839 E. Expressway 83 in Mercedes, for the grand opening.
“We are thrilled to bring Starbucks to Mercedes and be a part of this vibrant community,” Cesar Cid, the store manager, said in the release. “Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional service and serving high-quality coffee and food to our customers. We look forward to becoming a favorite destination for coffee lovers in the area.”
The coffee shop will offer a drive-thru service, in addition to its ample seating indoors where customers can enjoy a range of food options such as pastries and sandwiches.
Starbucks will be open seven days a week, from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m.
This will be Starbucks’ first standalone location in Mercedes. There is a shop inside the Rio Grande Valley Premium Outlets.
Just last week, Mercedes officials also announced that construction has begun on the new McDonald’s in town, located at at 216 N. Texas Ave.
