Out for a spin: IMAS event marks Lunar New Year

The International Museum of Art & Science (IMAS) hosted its 10th annual Lunar New Year Festival on Sunday, which celebrated the year of the Tiger. Throughout the event, attendees were able to enjoy activities such as traditional Korean games, K-pop bingo, calligraphy, Chinese red envelopes, storytime, fan painting and meditation.

Attendees were also able to browse the products being sold by vendors who created hand-made items inspired by Chinese, Korean and Taiwanese traditions. Guests were also treated to a performance by violist, Young Sin Choi, pianist, Stacy Kwak and piano performance from students of Connie’s Music Studio.
