The McAllen Police Department has an open death investigation after a farmer reported finding a body on the southern outskirts of the city.
Lt. Joel Morales said police responded to the area at 2:41 p.m. Thursday afternoon.
He said the body is that of a man, whose death is undetermined at this time.
No other information is immediately available.
