Resaca de la Palma Battlefield will reopen to the public after undergoing major improvements,
There is a brand-new trail and an environmentally friendly, refurbished pavilion and picnic areas.
Beginning today, the park will reopen access from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to the following areas:
• Park roads
• Parking areas
• Trails
• Picnic areas
The restroom facilities remain closed.
The CDC recommends those visiting the park wear face masks when social distancing cannot be maintained.
