The National Weather Service in Brownsville has issued a Urban and Small Stream Flood advisory for some areas of Cameron County. The advisory will be in place until 1 p.m.
At 11:06 a.m., Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms.
Some areas that could experience flooding include Harlingen, San Benito, Los Fresnos, Rancho Viejo, Rio Hondo, Laureles, Olmito, Cameron Park, Port Of Brownsville, Southmost,
Downtown Brownsville, Brownsville, Los Fresnos and all the surrounding areas.
