HARLINGEN — Police say a 38-year-old has been arrested and charged with burglary of a habitation after attempting to rob a house.
At approximately 12:04 a.m. on Feb. 17, Harlingen Police say officers responded to the 700 block of South “J” Street in reference to a burglary of a home, according to a press release.
When they arrived they say the residents told them a man had broken into the home by removing an air conditioning unit and then tried to open the door to the house..
Police arrested Reymundo Martinez on the 1000 block of W. Buchanan Avenue and arrested. He has been charged with first degree felony and held on $150,000 bond.
