HARLINGEN — Police are looking for a 21-year-old Harlingen woman wanted on three counts of kidnapping.

Police said an employee of Child Protective Services filed a “kidnapping” report with the Harlingen Police Department on Aug. 21 alleging that on Aug. 19 Destiny Rene Galvan removed three children — a 4-year-old girl and two 1-year-old boys — from CPS custody “without authorization and in violation of a court order,” according to a police press release.

Galvan has been identified as the children’s biological mother and was last seen with the children in a white four-door Dodge pickup truck bearing Texas Registration KTZ5628, the press release states.

However, it is unknown whether they are still in that same vehicle.

Authorities stated the family has connections to the Harlingen and Dallas areas.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Galvan or the children is asked to notify the Harlingen Police Department at (956)-216-5940, Detective Ruben Salazar at (956)-202-9034, or the Harlingen Area Crime Stoppers at (956)-425-8477 (TIPS).
