Summer meals available for children

Children need nutritious meals to learn, grow, and thrive – even when school is out.

Funded by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), the Summer Food Service Program is making healthy summer meals available to children and teens ages 18 and younger. There is no cost for the meals and no form of identification is required – kids simply show up at a participating meal site.

To find a nearby meal site and the hours of operation: call 211, text FOODTX to 877-877, or visit SummerFood.org. The Summer Food Service Program is administered by the Texas Department of Agriculture.
