Does the President of the United States have the authority to disregard laws or to change laws?
The presidental oath of office in Article 11 Section 1 of the U.S. constitution that every president since George Washington has sworn to, “I do solemly swear that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States and
will to the best of my ability preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.
If the President won’t or can’t enforce the immigration laws of the United States does that constitute violation of his oath of office?
Can he alone decide wether or not a select group of people (children) are not subject to the laws passed by Congress and are therefore part of the Constitution of the United States?
