Six students from the Harlingen school district performed very well this weekend at the Skills USA competition.
The event took place at Texas State Technical College.
More than 1,000 students showed their skill in such fields as masonry, graphic arts, marketing and welding.
The six Harlingen students took first place in TV production and second place in broadcast news.
