WESLACO — When it comes to observing wildlife, few places in America can boast of the large number of species found in the Lower Rio Grande Valley.
Many of these animals will be showcased during Saturday’s 5th annual Wildlife Photo Exhibition at Estero Llano Grande State Park in Weslaco. The exhibition lasts from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event is free, but regular fees apply to visit the rest of the park.
Steve Sinclair has documented wildlife with the camera for two decades, and many of his favorite images from the Lower Valley and beyond will be displayed and available to be purchased, with money raised donated to park projects.
The Friends of Estero Llano Grande State Park will provide refreshments.
