HARLINGEN — One suspect is still on the run for aggravated robbery.
According to police, a Harlingen man contacted authorities that he had been held at gunpoint, taken into his home and asked to give up all his money.
Harlingen police arrived at the residence in the 2000 block of East Jackson Avenue in reference to the robbery at 4:18 a.m. Tuesday.
When officers arrived, the male victim reported that he was lured to the residence by a female acquaintance.
According to police, while at the residence, two male subjects allegedly confronted the victim with a gun and demanded that he empty his pockets, and he complied.
The victim was escorted out of the residence and he fled on foot and contacted police. The victim identified the female subject as Samantha Ray Taylor, 18, and one of the male subjects as Jershaiah Gutierrez, 18, police said.
During the course of the investigation, Harlingen detectives made contact at the residence and located two of the suspects. The suspects were taken into custody and charged with aggravated robbery and engaging in organized criminal activity.
According to police, the third suspect has not been identified at this time. Bond for Gutierrez was set at $150,000 for aggravated robbery, a first-degree felony, and $200,000 for engaging in organized criminal activity, also a first-degree felony. Bond for Taylor was set at $75,000 for aggravated robbery, a first-degree felony, and $100,000 for engaging in organized activity.
