TSC to hold film screening

Texas Southmost College will have a screening of the award-winning film “The Whole” directed by Brownsville film director Rodrigo Moreno at 5:30 p.m. Saturday at the TSC Arts Center.

Texas Southmost College will have a screening of the award-winning film “The Whole” directed by Brownsville film director Rodrigo Moreno at 5:30 p.m. Saturday at the TSC Arts Center.

The film is about a university professor named Peter who also is the son of a Pulitzer-prize winning author. Struggling to become as successful as his father, Peter encounters a metaphysical entity that could give him fame. While trying to gain that fame and power, Peter slowly starts to lose his mind.

Moreno said the movie took place in the Rio GrandeValley, and a majority of the scenes took place on the TSC campus.

Tickets for the screening at TSC are $10 for general admission and $8 for students. Also, tickets can be purchased online at http://www.tsc.edu/index.php/tsc-foundation-and-alumni-/the-whole-film-screening.html.

Proceeds will go to the TSC Foundation.
