Police seek help to ID man killed by train

HARLINGEN — Harlingen police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man who was struck and killed by a train last week.

On June 19 at approximately 3:35 a.m., officers responded to a call about a man who had been hit by a train around the 300 block of North Commerce.

The unidentified man was pronounced dead at the scene.

During the course of the investigation, police have been attempting to identify him.

The Texas Department of Public Safety created a computer-generated reconstruction photograph to assist in the identification.

The Harlingen Police Department is seeking assistance from the community.
