The annual Texas Independence Day Celebration scheduled to take place in San Benito on Saturday has been postponed until next weekend.
Organizers say this week’s rain left the San Benito Fairgrounds soaked and muddy and would make it very difficult for festival goers to get in and out of the area.
The celebration has been moved to next Saturday, March 18.
