Harlingen police are thanking residents for coming forward and helping identify and locate a man they say was involved in a theft at a 7-11 convenience store located at 6780 W. Expressway 83.
Police said the theft occurred March 11 when the suspect picked up a wallet that had been dropped, and then removed approximately $80 from the wallet.
The man left the wallet on the gas pumps and then left in a small black vehicle. The wallet was turned in by another customer. The owner said $80 was taken.
